Relmu Gedda

Relmu Gedda holds a degree in Sociology and a master’s in education and educational assessment from Universidad de La Frontera, Chile. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, affiliated with the research group Globalisation, Education & Social Policies (GEPS).

He has extensive experience in educational quality assurance, curriculum development, and innovation in Chile, acquired through various positions held between 2010 and 2024. He has focused his work on addressing educational inequalities and their impact on the educational trajectories of non-traditional students. His doctoral research project aims to understand how the experiences and trajectories of these students, often considered disadvantaged in the education field, are shaped to enable them to persist until they reach the final stages of their educational trajectories.
