Ivan Cerrillo is a predoctoral researcher in the Department of Sociology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political and Administration Sciences (UPF) and a Master’s in Public Administration (UAB-UB-UPF). Previously, he served as an adjunct lecturer at UPF and participated in national and European research projects, such as SociAL-Reg (IBEI) and rEUsilience (IGOP). Ivan has also worked as an independent researcher in collaboration with the Catalan Institute for Policy Evaluation (Ivàlua) and has been a visiting researcher at the Quality of Government Institute in Göteborg (Sweden). His main areas of interest in sociology of education are education policy, educational trajectories, and the reproduction of social inequalities, approached through a comparative and qualitative lens.
