Enrique Callejas

Enrique Callejas Castro is Assistant Professor in Developmental and Educational Psychology area at the University of Extremadura. His academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (UAM, 2014), a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology (UAM, 2016), a Master’s Degree in Data Science (UOC, 2024), and a PhD in Psychology (ULL, 2021), for which he was awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Prize in 2022.
Throughout his research career, he has published articles in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports and has written book chapters aimed at professionals in the field of family intervention. He has participated in numerous projects secured through competitive grants at the regional, national, and international levels. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for various national and international scientific journals in the healthcare and educational fields (e.g., Early Child Development and Care, Children and Youth Services Review, Qualitative Health Research, International Journal of Qualitative Methods). He also collaborates as a methodological advisor and data analyst with various research groups. His area of expertise is the design and evaluation of evidence-based programs.
