Berta Llos Casadellà

Berta Llos Casadellà is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She holds a Master’s in Social Policy, Work, and Welfare, as well as two different degrees in Educational Studies. Within the research group GEPS, she has participated in projects such as EduPost16: The construction of post-16 educational opportunities, and she has also collaborated on a study on Early School Leaving in the city of Barcelona, among others. Berta has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy, the Department of Theories of Education and Social Pedagogy, and the Department of Sociology, all at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her main research interests revolve around social inequalities in education, particularly on the production and reproduction of identities, experiences, and choices, policymaking processes in schools, social justice approaches, and gender studies.
